HV Report

HV Report (G-Q-R)

Extended filtered report with hourmeter, internal battery and two temperature sensors (OW0 and OW1). Ideal for machinery monitoring, equipment with backup battery and simultaneous temperature control.

This report combines multiple metrics useful for industrial machinery and special vehicles: operation time, backup battery status and temperature monitoring.

HV report specific fields

Internal battery (%%%)

FieldDescription
%%%Voltage in hundredths of Volt (e.g.: 420 = 4.20V)

The internal battery allows the device to continue operating during vehicle power outages, ideal for detecting disconnections.

Hourmeter ($$$$$$$$)

FieldDescription
$$$$$$$$Second counter in hexadecimal

Conversion:

  • To get hours: decimal_value / 3600
  • Example: 0000E10C = 57612 sec = 16.003 hours

To control the hourmeter, see HO Command.

Temperature OW0

FieldDescription
TSign: + (positive) or - (negative)
UUUUValue in hundredths of degree (e.g.: 2350 = 23.50C)
VVSeconds since last valid reading

Temperature OW1

FieldDescription
XSign: + (positive) or - (negative)
YYYYValue in hundredths of degree (e.g.: -0520 = -5.20C)
ZZSeconds since last valid reading

GSM registration status (R)

ValueDescription
0Not registered, no active search
1Registered, home network
2Not registered, searching for operator
3Registration denied
4Unknown
5Registered, roaming

CSQ signal level (SS)

ValueDescription
99No signal / Open
0-30Signal level (higher = better)

Hourmeter control

The hourmeter can be controlled through the HO Command:

// Start hourmeter >SHO01< // Stop hourmeter >SHO00< // Reset hourmeter >SHO02< // Query current value >QHO<

The hourmeter counts time while active, regardless of engine status. Configure it correctly according to your application.

Typical usage - Machinery

// Periodic report every 5 minutes with hourmeter >STD01E00300< >SRL01E;TRG=TD01+;ACC={GHV01L}< // Report when powering on equipment (start hourmeter) >SRL10E;TRG=IGN+;ACC={SHO01}{GHV10H}< // Report when powering off equipment (capture worked hours) >SRL11E;TRG=IGN-;ACC={GHV11H}{SHO00}< // Low internal battery alarm >SRL35E;TRG=BL00+;ACC={GHV35H}<
