Warranty Terms and Conditions
CAVEFLAG SRL
1. Warranty Scope
1.1. CAVEFLAG SRL warrants to the original purchaser that this product will be free from defects in materials and workmanship, under normal use conditions, for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase.
1.2. This warranty applies exclusively to products manufactured by CAVEFLAG SRL and purchased through authorized distributors.
2. Requirements to Make the Warranty Effective
2.1. To access the benefits of this warranty, the purchaser must present:
a) Original purchase invoice of the equipment.
b) Corresponding payment receipt.
c) The product in question, in the conditions in which it presented the failure.
2.2. The absence of any of these documents entitles CAVEFLAG SRL to reject the warranty claim.
3. Exclusions
3.1. This warranty will NOT be applicable in the following cases:
a) Damage caused by accident, negligence, misuse, abuse or inappropriate use of the product.
b) Damage caused by exposure to water, excessive humidity, flooding or any other liquid.
c) Damage caused by the use of voltages, currents or polarities inappropriate to the device’s technical specifications.
d) Any damage caused by technical personnel or repair services not authorized by CAVEFLAG SRL.
e) Products that have been modified, altered or repaired without prior written authorization from the manufacturer.
f) Consumable parts, including but not limited to batteries, unless the damage occurred due to a manufacturing defect.
g) Cosmetic damage, including scratches, dents and broken plastics.
h) Damage caused by natural disasters, including but not limited to lightning, floods, earthquakes or fires.
4. Liability Limitations
4.1. Regarding programming: Rinho devices are user-programmable. The development, implementation and operation of programmed configurations remains under the total and exclusive responsibility of the purchaser.
4.2. Regarding functionality: The user assumes total responsibility for the selection and configuration of equipment functionalities. The statements, commands and examples described in the technical documentation are merely indicative and orientative.
4.3. Regarding GPS system: CAVEFLAG SRL is not responsible for the operation, failure of operation, availability, accuracy or coverage of GPS satellite signals, as these services are provided by third parties external to the company.
4.4. Regarding consequential damages: CAVEFLAG SRL will not be responsible, under any circumstances or legal theory, for direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including but not limited to:
- Loss of profits or income
- Business or commercial activity interruption
- Loss of data or information
- Costs of substitute products or services
The above applies regardless of whether CAVEFLAG SRL has been notified of the possibility of such losses and regardless of their development status.
5. Warranty Procedure
5.1. The purchaser must contact CAVEFLAG SRL through official channels to initiate the claim process.
5.2. Once the claim is authorized, the purchaser must send the product to CAVEFLAG SRL facilities.
5.3. Important: Shipping costs to CAVEFLAG SRL facilities will be borne by the purchaser.
5.4. CAVEFLAG SRL will perform the corresponding technical diagnosis and, if applicable, proceed to repair or replace the product at its sole discretion.
5.5. Return shipping costs for the repaired or replaced product will be borne by the purchaser.
5.6. The estimated timeframe for claim resolution will be informed at the time of product receipt.
6. General Provisions
6.1. This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser of the product.
6.2. Repair or replacement of a product under warranty does not extend the original warranty period.
6.3. CAVEFLAG SRL reserves the right to use refurbished parts or products for warranty repairs.
6.4. This warranty grants specific legal rights. The purchaser may have other rights that vary according to applicable jurisdiction.
6.5. The terms of this warranty are interpreted according to the laws of the Argentine Republic, with the parties submitting to the jurisdiction of the ordinary courts of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires.
