Binary Reports
Binary reports were created with the purpose of integrating satellite communication modules into the existing system, providing RINHO with a hybrid communication mode (GPRS + SATELLITE).
AVL satellite networks use medium/low orbit satellite constellations, allowing binary frame transmission at moderate cost with acceptable latency.
Available Reports
Operation
When generating the BP report, RINHO sends via serial port a binary string with:
- Header with satellite module parameters
- Position and status data to transmit
It is necessary to configure the serial port speed at 4800 baud using the CXTRM Command.
