Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE)
Configuration of Bluetooth Low Energy sensors and devices in Rinho IoT equipment.
Description
Rinho IoT devices allow integration with multiple types of Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) sensors and devices. This technology enables monitoring of temperature, humidity, fuel, driver presence, tool identification, and more.
BLE commands are only available on IoT family devices: Spider IoT, Zero IoT, and Smart IoT.
Supported Sensor Types
| Family | Types |
|---|---|
| iBeacon | Presence, identification |
| Eddystone | UID, TLM, URL |
| Rinho BLE | Temperature, humidity, door, PIR, button |
| Escort | Fuel, temperature, angle, light |
Available Commands
📡BE IoT - iBeacon
Triggers for iBeacon detection
→🌡️BS IoT - BLE Sensors
BLE sensor configuration (35+ types)
→🔍BSW IoT - Wildcard
Bluetooth Smart Wildcard auto-detection
→Quick Reference
| Command | Function | Instances |
|---|---|---|
BE | iBeacon triggers | 5 (00-04) |
BS | BLE sensors | 4 (00-03) |
BSW | Wildcard auto-detection | 4 (00-03) |
Typical Use Cases
- Driver identification - Detection of personal beacons
- Temperature monitoring - Cold chain with BLE sensors
- Tool control - Alerts for equipment loss
- Trailer detection - Presence/absence of trailers
To use BLE, it is necessary to load the special firmware .ble.ota. This disables WiFi, CAN, and traditional Bluetooth.
